REBEKKA ATZ
Rebekka Atz is a CHEK Exercise Coach and a Professional Athlete.
Rebekka has always been passionate about high-performance and health. As a young girl she became involved in gymnastics. During her teenage years she competed in track and field and participated in dancing and inline skating. The desire to progress her body and mind resulted in an exploration in the sport of boxing. She soon fell in love with the technical aspects of the movements and the mental challenge that that sport inspires. Rebekka has travelled the world successfully competing as an amateur boxer for the last 10 years. She has trained with the best of the best in America, Australia and Europe and has observed and studied their training methods.
Rebekka’s educational background includes completing a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology and studying Sports Science in Australia and Germany. Rebekka has more recently been introduced to the CHEK philosophy and has found it to be a state-of-the-art approach to health and performance. In 2008 she became a CHEK Exercise Coach and has had even greater success with the clients she has worked with.
Having grown up in Germany, Rebekka witnessed the traditional foods in her culture slowly become replaced by modern low-fat, highly processed foods. This was concerning to her as she watched a growing number of her friends and family become unwell. They were now choosing their foods from a feeling of fear, and not the joy which once was. This caused Rebekka to ask many questions: Why are there more obese people now than ever before when we are eating all this low-fat foods? Why is it that Grandma thinks apples and tomatoes tasted better 50 years ago? How can foods such as meat and milk be sold for so cheaply when it passes through so many middle men?
Rebekka found her answer through the teachings of the Weston A. Price Foundation which emphasis’s the importance of eating traditional foods from clean natural farms. Today Rebekka is passionate about living and teaching the principles of traditional food preparation and cooking. She shows people how to fall in love with eating again and not fear the false and dangerous premises created by large corporations for financial gain.
Rebekka is an inspirational teacher and a joy to work with. |
